Philippines Holy Week starts in Palm Sunday where devotees attend mass with palm leaves with
them and continues up until Easter Sunday where malls and hotels arrange
activities for people like Easter egg hunting, egg paintings and some fun
performances.
This tradition
is mostly followed by Christian people but for some, this is the time to relax
and take a break from city life. After attending mass, they either stay at home
and meditate or go out of town with families and friends.
Hotels and beach
resorts are more likely fully booked on this season. So it is recommended to
plan your trip ahead of time. Not sure where to go and what to do? Puerto
Galera is a fun place for tourist and locals during Holy Week. Here are some
things you can do for the rest of the holiday.
1. Book a hotel room with a view. Find a nice
hotel room where you can simply relax and chill out just by watching the ocean as the sun rise and set.

for its white beaches and excellent diving spot. The water is very shallow and
offers no strong current which makes it an ideal place for swimming, diving and
snorkeling for people of all ages. Resorts where you’re booked in usually offer tour
packages that you'll surely enjoy.
